Roost privacy policy
What Roost collects
- Your email address. Sign-in is handled by Cloudflare Access using Google. Roost receives only the email address of the Google account you sign in with (and a session identifier). It never sees your Google password, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.
- What you build. Your dragon roster, formations, notes and settings are stored so they are there the next time you sign in.
How it is used
- Your email address identifies your saved data and nothing else. It is not used for mail, marketing or analytics, and it is never sold or shared.
- Your roster and formations are private to you. The operator can see them only as the person who runs the server.
Where it lives
Everything is stored on a private computer operated by Evan Erickson, reachable only through Cloudflare. Backups are kept on that same computer. No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking is used.
Cookies
Cloudflare Access sets a sign-in cookie (CF_Authorization) so you stay signed in for up to one month. Roost itself keeps a copy of your last roster in your browser's local storage so the app opens quickly; signing out removes it.
Removing your data
Email evanerickson24@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and your stored data will be deleted. You can also revoke Roost's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account's security settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new date.
